Detection of Speaker Change with Mel-Cepstrum Considering Speaker-Microphone Distance

(in English) Aiming at achieving high performance speaker identification using mobile-device, some methods which extract vocal tract parameters with individuality from the cepstrum information have been proposed. However, the cepstrum is distorted due to the distance between a speaker and a microphone, and the reverberation, and thus more robust approaches, which detect the vocal tract parameters in such environments, and select the vocal tract parameters which we use for speaker identification, are required. Then, calculating the fundamental frequency correctly is important to get proper vocal tract parameters. In this paper, a method that robustly detects fundamental frequency in the above situation will be proposed. In addition, the effectiveness of the proposed method will be discussed from the result of speaker change detection experiment with a specific distance between a speaker and a microphone.
