(in English) We carried out a feasibility study of planar chiral nano-gratings (PCNG) as a building block of spectroscopic instruments. PCNG is a class of meta-materials in the optical frequency regime. Polarization interference-type band-pass filters can be constructed by sandwiching a PCNG with a pair of polarizer. We have so far studied fundamental design of PCNG consisting of Si monolayer on glass substrate. In this report we investigated a new class of structures having an underclad layer between the Si core layer and the glass substrate. According to the FDTD (Finite-Difference Time-Domain) simulation we found that dielectric films such as Al2O3 or Si3N4 of the thickness a few times thicker than the Si core layer were favorable for realizing band-pass filter functions.
