Simultaneous adaptation of time-series a priori statistical model and spectral basis for binaural source separation

(in English) In this paper, we propose a new approach for addressing binaural music signal separation based on the simultaneous adaptation of time-series a priori statistical model and spectral basis. This method is an extension of our previously proposed equi-gain generalized MMSE-STSA estimator with prior model parameter estimation, which is aimed at iteratively adapting trained spectral bases to target signal components. Thanks to the adapted spectral bases, we can perform an appropriate extraction of the target binaural signals modified by unknown head related transfer functions. Our experimental evaluation can show the e ffi cacy of the proposed method.
