[Technology Exhibit] A Data Forwarding Method to Adapt Connectivity of Terminals for Delay- and Disruption-Tolerant Bluetooth MANET

(in English) Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANETs) are networks which consist of mobile terminals such as smartphones.
In MANETs, a terminal communicates with others by using direct and multi-hop wireless communication methods without any base stations.
We have developed several applications over Bluetooth-oriented MANETs
(Bluetooth MANETs) for contemporary Android terminals.
Due to a nallow radio areas, the number of disruptions in Bluetooth is greater than that in other communication technologies. To counter this problem, Delay- and Disruption-Tolerant Networks (DTN) have been proposed. In this paper, we propose and demonstrate a new communication method to adapt varying node density in Bluetooth MANETs.
In this exhibit, we will show the demonstration of our proposed method using our applications on Bluetooth MANETs.
