Movement Scheduling Method for Wireless Sensor Networks using Autonomous Air Vehicle

(in English) Recently, wireless sensor network (WSN) systems and unmanned aerial
vehicle systems are widely studied for environmental
observations. However, the flexibility of observations is restricted
in most of conventional systems because the flying nodes carry the
sensing data collected from the fixed nodes. In this paper, a novel
wireless sensor network system that greatly enhances the flexibility
of the observations than the conventional systems by using the
unmanned aerial vehicle for flying sensor nodes dealing with the
dynamic change of environment is proposed. The proposed system
realizes reliable data collection by using unmanned aerial vehicles
that divides the observation area and determines the movement
scheduling of nodes for each divided area. Furthermore, this system
deals with changes of the number of the nodes by accidents by changing
scheduling dynamically.
