Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) This report analyzes data on temperature distribution measured in an atrium of an office building for modeling of heat propagation dynamics in the building. In order to characterize the heat propagation, the dynamic mode decomposition is applied to the temperature distribution data, which change in time and space, and oscillatory modes are extracted from the data. The modes are verified by comparison with the measured data. Finally, the speed of heat propagation in the atrium is calculated using the modal information. The calculated speed is relevant in terms of physical parameters of fluid flows.
