There has been an increasing concern toward realizing wireless power transfer systems. Recently, several studies have reported the induced quantities in the human body are well below the basic restriction even though the spatial maximal of external magnetic field strength does not satisfy the reference level. In the present study, the in-situ electric field and Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) in a realistic human body model is investigated for a wireless power transfer system operating at 6 MHz band. A feasibility of compliance assessment procedure for the wireless power transfer system is discussed based on the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) standard for the dosimetric results obtained from the computational results. |
