| (in English) | Circular synthetic aperture radar (CSAR) is an imaging technique of which the radar trajectory takes a circular form, and the antenna beam illuminates the center of the circular path to acquire the backscattering of targets. Comparing to the SAR systems which have a linear trajectory such as stripmap SAR or spotlight SAR, CSAR has an advantage of being able to image the radar cross section (RCS) of the targets from various azimuthal angles to obtain the high-resolution images. In this report, a simple preprocessing scheme for CSAR received data, called the wire structure intensifier (WSI), is proposed to enhance the scattering from a wire-like target. To demonstrate the proposed method, CSAR experiments are carried out in an anechoic chamber. | |
