A Study on Practical Use of Flexible System Reconfiguration

(in English) At present, a distributed system that realizes more advanced work in real time has been noted. And there are many researches to improve reliability of this system. We have proposed a flexible system reconfiguration (FSR) method which inherits functions of failed controllers using calculation resource margin of other controllers. In previous researches, I2C communication has been applied for FSR, and the relief characteristics has been shown. In this paper, we studied on practical use of this system. First, we proposed a wireless-based system in which Zigbee devices, one of wireless communication devices, were employed to FSR instead of I2C communication. And we verified the performance evaluation when this proposed system was applied to a wireless sensor network system. In addition, we studied on implementation of FSR using FPGA in which some processors were installed.
