[Poster Presentation] A Study on Error Estimation by MPSK using AMI code in Multi-hop Networks

(in English) DetF (Detect and Forward) is a relay scheme of multi-hop communications. When relaying data, DetF detects data by hard decision and estimates the amount of errors. Depending on the estimated amount of errors, the relay node can decide whether it decodes data or not. Thus, designing a good error detection scheme is an issue for DetF. This paper focuses on a modified MPSK (M-ary Phase Shift Keying) using AMI (Alternate Mark Inversion) code which can estimate the amount of errors easily and compares this error detection scheme with QPSK (Quaternary PSK) using parity check code. This paper evaluates error estimation performance of these error detection codes in multi-hop communications under fading environments. As the result, the modified 5-ary PSK using AMI with pases 0, 77.5, 127.5, 205.0, 282.5 deg is the most proper to an error detection scheme of DetF.
