| (in English) | Virtual Auditory Display (VAD) is a system that displays acoustic spatial information toward two ears. The contents to be displayed by VAD system are actual sound recording or acoustic rendering by simulation. There are several construction methods of VAD system. In consideration of the cost performance of the system, binaural presentation method using headphones are suitable. Conventional VAD system was a stand-alone type that does not pass through the network. However, it is important to apply VAD system to future communication system via the Internet. In this report, we developed a binaural VAD system using a dedicated rendering server and Android devices. We measured the system latency, it was possible to confirm the effectiveness. | |
