| (in English) | The present research aims to build a base of the anatomical knowledge of the tongue muscles for the speech production study. In previous reports, the Magnetic Resonance Images (MRI) of the tongue have been analyzed, however, the resolution of the MRI was not sufficient as compared with a photograph of the muscle dissection. In the future, we plan to acquire the both of dissection photos and MRI data of the human tongue, and to create a basic model of the human tongue. In this report, the database of the photos of the sliced bovine tongue and a human-based 3D substance tongue model are described. | |
