We investigate the crystal structure of CaFeO3, LaFeO3 thin films and the DOS calculation results of [(CaFeO3)1/(LaFeO3)1] superlattice. From calculation results, the lowest energy was observed at 3.678 Å for CFO and at 3.913 Å for LFO. From the experimental results, lattice constant of CFO is 3.693 Å and LFO is 3.960 Å. Lattice constant differences between calculation and experiment are 0.41% and 1.18%, respectively. The DOS calculation indicates that the [(CaFeO3)1/(LaFeO3)1] superlattice show the metallic conductivity. The amount ratio of Fe(down spin) to Fe(up spin) is 1.44, indicating that the presence of the mixture of ferromagnetic and antiferromagnetic interaction. In the M-H curve of [(CaFeO3)7/(LFO)7]13//STO(001) grown by PLD, double hysteresis curve suggests the coexistence both of ferromagnetism and antiferromagnetism. |
