An Image Recognition System Learning Feature Regions with Vocalise

(in English) Recently much attention has been paid to image recognition systems for mobile systems. Mobile systems are used in various places. Therefore,image recognition systems should have an autonomous learning function which can autonomously make template images adaptive to objects in their environment in real time. However, large-scale computation and complex control are needed to realize the function. Hence, we propose an image recognition system learning feature regions designed in hw/sw complex with 3D FPGA Array, “Vocalise”. This system enables the dynamic building of image databases and real-time learning.
