(in English) Donor-electron enhanced FTC-based chromophore with large molecular hyperpolarizability is a promising material for high performance Electro-Optic (EO) devices. In this study, optical modulators based the EO polymer containing the chromophore were fabricated and evaluated. Broadband microstrip electrodes and transition structures from the microstrip to outside contacts were designed and fabricated. 50 Ω impedance was maintained and optical modulations at millimeter-wave frequencies were experimentally demonstrated.
