A Study on Autonomous and Distributed Mobility Management in Mobile Networks -- Proposal of Mobility Management Architecture --

(in English) In recent years, discussion on the 5th generation mobile communication (5G) for next generation mobile networks has been activated. 5G networks are required to support mobile traffic explosion and increasing number & variety of devices along with the development of IoT and M2M. Load concentration and latency in user plane and control plane become serious problems in the current concentrated mobile network architecture. To solve these problems, we propose an autonomous and distributed mobility management scheme to handle control plane autonomously according to numerous and various devices on distributed mobile network architecture.
