A Study on an Autonomous Construction Method for a P2P Network Topology Robust to Attack and Node Departure
Rikuho Sakamoto, Katsunori Yamaoka (Tokyo Tech) IN2014-82
Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In recent years, a Pure P2P network has attracted much attention because it does not require expensive central servers and can construct a large-scale network.
However, a P2P network has a problem that it is vulnerable to attacks on hub nodes.
For this problem, a bimodal degree distribution network which is tolerant to both attacks on hub node and node departures has been studied.
However, the construction method of a bimodal degree distribution network in the previous studies is not targeted to a large-scale Pure P2P.
Therefore, we study the construction method of a bimodal degree distribution network for a large-scale Pure P2P.
