A Study of Large-Scale Push Content Delivery System for Synchronization between Broadcast Programs and Push Contents

(in English) We have developed a push content delivery technology for realizing services of integrating broadcasting with the Internet. In order to provide services with high synchronization between the broadcast programs and the push contents, we propose a new push content delivery method for simultaneous reception of the push contents. In the proposed method, a delivery server controls the output timing of the contents by considering clients’ RTT. In this report, we evaluated the performance of the proposed push content delivery method for suppressing the reception delay between clients in the case of a single server by simulation. Next, we also propose a server selection method for applying the proposed push content delivery method under large-scale conditions. We evaluated the performance of the proposed server selection method by simulation. We confirmed the proposed server selection method could be suppressed the reception delay than the conventional server selection method.
