Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) “Niconico”, one of video-sharing website with social media has the function that viewers’ comments are overlaid directly onto the video, synced to a specific playback time. We have made a suggestion to incorporate the function in lecture video. The function holds promise for enhancing learners’ motivation and understanding of the lecture content, but on the other hand, the function might interfere with the learning. In this paper, first of all, we have investigated the feature of comments that “Niconico” users transmitted. The findings are going to provide data and information useful for investigating the feature of comments that lecture video viewers transmitted.
