Our research group has been investigating amount of spectral fluctuation in scat including plural consonants for the purpose of application to singing voice synthesis systems. In this research, we analyzed scat singings with different tempos of multiple singers in order to investigate temporal fluctuation of spectrum. As a result of the analysis, we have observed that the temporal fluctuation of spectrum in fast-tempo scat decreases in comparison with that in slow-tempo scat. Based on this observation, we synthesized scat singing considering influence of tempo by using the smoothed time series of spectra by means of weighted moving average window for a time series of the input spectra. |
