In this study of ultrasonic exposure, we have studied the sound pressure characteristics in a pseudo ear canal set up a mannequin head under the ultrasonic irradiation at the frequency 20 kHz to estimate the sound pressure around the eardrum. In previous study, it was clarified that the peak value of the standing wave sound field is formed in the pseudo ear canal is possible to estimate the sound pressure around the eardrum.
However, the sound field with higher frequencies is complicated inside and outside the ear canal. Therefore, the estimation of the sound pressure around the eardrum became difficult is expected. In this report, we investigated the sound pressure characteristics of the pseudo ear canal in ultrasonic exposure at the frequency 20 kHz and higher frequencies. |
