Development of high precision power supply for Field Emission Spectroscopy

(in English) Recently, much attention has been refocused on a nano tip electron source, which exhibits several superior emission characteristics such as high current density with low voltage, small source size leading to high coherency, and narrow confinement of the electron beam. So far, we have developed a high precision energy analyzer to obtain the emission spectrum of electrons emitted from the nano tip electron source. In order to improve the energy resolution of the energy analyzer further, it is important to design the optimum electrode of the energy analyzer as well as to improve the stability of a power supply for the energy analyzer. Therefore, we have also developed the computer controlled power supply with a low noise, low ripple and stable output voltage.
