A Study on Technical Directions of Wireless Access Networking for 5G Cellular Systems

(in English) This paper will discuss technical directions of wireless access and networking for 5G cellular systems. Although targets for previous generations in cellular systems were clear, the target for 5G systems is not so clear compared to the previous generation systems. However, when considering historical technical trends as well as potential user requirements for wireless access, the core target for next generation systems would be realization of full-scale heterogeneous networks to support not onlへてろy much higher user rate but also much wider range of services, much wider range of application fields and more flexible interconnection with private networks. In this document, we will discuss why full-scale heterogeneous networking is necessary for next generation systems, especially from the viewpoints of wireless distributed networking, and will show you a view towards the new network composition scheme based on cooperation of a small-scale network types.
