Performance Evaluation of One-to-Many Content Distribution Method Suitable for Wireless LAN with High Node Density

(in English) When the availability of carriers' mobile phone line is restricted such as the time of a disaster, etc., Wireless LAN (WLAN) communication by using mobile terminals, such as smartphones and tablet PCs, can be considered as a promising approach for sharing information. However, in the environment where many terminals (nodes) are connected, the performance of WLAN degrades, and thus it may cause difficulty for communication through WLAN. Therefore, we propose a one-to-many content distribution method to realize an efficient information delivery for WLAN. This method is Peer-to-Peer type and composed mainly of the reliable multicast and the packet collision avoidance method which we have been proposed. In this paper, we implement the proposed method on terminals and report the performance evaluation results of the above two key methods by using up to 100 terminals.
