In order to establish highly-reliable wireless links under fast fading scenarios, the authors study transmit diversity schemes for single-carrier block transmission (SCBT) and focus on space-frequency block coding (SFBC) because of its robustness to time selectivity of channels. The time-domain encoding SFBC scheme previously proposed has a feature of SFBC encoding across adjacent subcarriers as well as maintaining the low-peak property inherent in SCBT. In the paper, for more resistance to multipath delay, the authors propose an approach of equivalent inter-carrier interference (ICI) cancellation based on minimum mean square error (MMSE) linear filtering. |
