| (in English) | This paper presents image quality metrics for evaluating the color breakups of DLP projectors. In general, color breakups are categorized into two cases; due to smooth-pursuit eye-tracking and due to saccades. Conventional image quality metrics that evaluated color breakup artifacts focus on the color breakups due to either smooth pursuit eye-tracking or saccades. Thus, this paper presents color breakups assessment method due to both smooth pursuit eye-tracking and saccades. First, we develop a perceived image simulator of color breakups. The color breakup criteria are calculated from the simulated perceived images. Finally, we analyzed the relationship between the objective and subjective experimental results. | |
