Haruomi Takashita, Masahito Shoyama (Kyushu Univ.), Sadaharu Morishita, Koji Takatori (OMRON) EE2014-15
Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In this paper, in order to make the efficiency of the Power Factor Circuit higher, the soft switching circuit which reduces the turned-off is introduced. The input of PFC continues to change, different from DC-DC converter, so effective reduction of switching loss is able to be achieved by decision of run or stop of the auxiliary circuits. Optimal control method with operation phase angle; the way to judge the auxiliary circuit operation is introduced and the operation was relify in the simulation.
