| (in English) | Systems which utilize postural informations are now easier to build due to the inexpensive and portable RGB-D sensors.The system to analyze the posture of the driver can be available for various assistances such as manipulation of the vehicle equipments by gestures and accident avoidance by detection of irregular postures.This paper proposed an assisting system that estimates the posture by relative check point methodology for driver's joint information that is detected by Kinect and discuss the preliminary evaluation.The system uses a learning to detect gestures and irregular postures.As the result through real car test, the realative check point methodology works well to detect the posture even in the real car environment.We also confirmed that the detection ratio of gesture achieves 100% through short learning time and the recognition ratio of irregular posture is between 30% and 100% maintaining misdetection ratio in less than 5%. | |
