It is not always said that e-Learning systems designed under expectation of free learning by learners realize ideal learning status and learning effects. Therefore, in order to enhance the learning effects by navigating learners into ideal learning status, we add system-centered learning support functions to S-quiz: question posing styled e-Learning system. We are developing an intelligent educational system (currently, just a proto-typing system) called “Active KSS” in which learners can acquire fundamental knowledge for a target learning domain (called “basic knowledge” hereafter). Active KSS needs to construct basic knowledge of target learning domain in suitable formats and also needs to store the formalized knowledge as the database or knowledge base of Active KSS. This paper describes the construction method of target knowledge and the examples on learning basic knowledge about high school level of chemistry as a concrete learning domain of Active KSS. |
