In general, the most of methods for three-dimensional imaging using sound waves measure the distance of objects by analyzing the reflected sound by beamforming.
Since the sound propagation speed is slow, it is difficult to achieve high frame rate and wide range of the space imaging by using the beamformed sound.
In this paper, we propose a new method for three-dimensional space imaging using several reflected sounds caused by a transmission sound.
It assumes that an object is located at a position, and then it judges the suitability of the assumption by analyzing several reflected sounds.
However, there is a problem that the number of processing will be large when the analysis in the proposed method is with high precision.
To overcome the problem, a hardware acceleration of the proposed method is discussed in this paper. |
