An Effective Route Search Algorithm for Route Distribution of Evacuees Groups in Sudden Disasters

(in English) In the event of sudden disasters like fire, blast, terrorism, and so on, evacuees need to evacuate safely and quickly from the disaster area to safe area. In this research, we have been developing of Emergency Rescue Evacuation Support System (ERESS). In this system, it is very important to provide a safe escape route to exit for evacuees. In the conventional evacuation route search in ERESS, it assumes that all evacuees hold ERESS terminal. However, in fact, the possibility that ERESS holders and ERESS non-holders are mixed is high. In general, evacuees take the action which follows the surrounding evacuees in the emergency such as fire disasters. Thereby, evacuees groups which consist of two or more persons are formed. When groups of many evacuees are formed, the probability that local confusions are occurred on passages and evacuation time is delayed is high. In this paper, we propose a new evacuation route search algorithm considering the evacuees groups and ERESS non-holders. To show the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm, we carry out the performance evaluations by computer simulations. As the results, we show that the proposed algorithm can support the evacuation of more evacuees than the conventional algorithm regardless of the percentage of ERESS holders.
