Control of CexY(3-x)Fe5O12 Thin Film Orientation by Crystal Contact Epitaxy

(in English) his paper was described the contact epitaxial method that is the crystal thin-film formation technology in which the influence of the substrate was suppressed. The crystal thin film of cerium substitution yttrium iron Garnett CexY(3-x) Fe5O12 (Ce:YIG) that is one of the magneto-optics materials as an object. It experimented about the processing conditions at the amount of cerium substitution to x= 1.5, and investigated the heat treatment condition. In this report, the thin film of 200 nm was obtained by 670℃ heat treatment by making into a start sample the amorphous film which targeted Ce1.5:YIG and RF sputtering deposition.
