Nonlinear optical effects are unavoidable issues for next generation of optical networks and multi-carriers of current optical OFDM could lead to high peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR). Multi-carrier of OFDM based on fractional Fourier transform is expected to reduce PAPR in propagation of optical fiber and it can be generated by conventional AWG based-devices. In this work, we carefully investigate the suppression effect of PAPR in optical fractional OFDM. |
