A numerical evaluation in finite difference method with polar represented spacetime domain for acoustical simulation with boundaries

(in English) In this paper, a new approach is evaluated for computer-aided acoustical simulation. The approach reduces numerical dispersion Finite-different time-domain (FDTD) method for sound led simulation. The conventional FDTD method causes numerical dispersion. Although our previously proposition reduced the numerical dispersion for FDTD method, it caused spatial periodicity due to periodic extension for discrete Fourier transform. Then the new approach avoids spatial periodicity due to angular-spectra domain calculation in polar-represented space time. Some numerical experiments were conducted, and they indicated the our proposed approach reduces numerical dispersion without spatial periodicity.
