| (in English) | In this paper, we propose a sentence intelligibility evaluation method for outdoors public address systems. For this, we developed a sentence list that optimizes the sentence length and the word familiarity. Moreover, we tested subjective intelligibility score under long path echo conditions using this list. Next, we investigated subjective score estimation method that does not require transmission characteristics using 13 features from the ITU-T standard P.563 and the harmonic mean of word familiarity of the the words in the list. The intelligibility estimate model was generated using the random forest method. As a result, we found that high correlation with subjective results are possible using the training data. It may be possible to increase the estimation accuracy by gathering enough subjective data in the future. | |
