| (in English) | As the contents of the Internet become richer, quality of communication network plays a key role in determining the perceived experience of users. Consequently, understanding both QoS of the communication network and QoE of users, in terms of user and network interaction, are becoming increasingly important. In this paper, we analyze the effect of network quality on user behavior in a flow of web browsing. We propose a method to convert passively monitored traffic into units of user actions and show that the observed change of behavior coincide with the MOS obtained through subjective analysis: The condition of network quality where the users’ behavior changes matches with the condition where the MOS starts to degrade. In addition, the obtained results illustrate that the users react to the perceived network quality where more web traffic and transactions are generated when the qualities of the network are both good and poor. | |
