Speaker Change Detection using Mel Logarithm Power-Cepstrum and MFCC

(in English) Aiming at developing a sophisticated voice recognition service, some approaches such as use of training data to the targeted voice data and use of multiple microphone for voice recording have been proposed. However, in a real situation where a mobile device with a single microphone is utilized and there exist many types of mixed voice data, these approaches do not work efficiently. This work focuses attention on vocal tract to realize high accurate voice recognition independent of user’s environment, and discusses how to detect speaker change using Mel scale logarithm power cepstrum, MFCC and ΔMFCC. In this paper, the effectiveness of the proposed approach through a verification experiment will be stated.
