A Study on Performance Evaluation of 2x2 MIMO channel for Inter-Terminal Radio Communications in LOS Propagation Environments

(in English) In researches of inter-terminal radio communications passing each other, the Bluetooth or the radio LAN system mounted in mobile radio terminals is expected to be a candidate of its communication tool. The present coverage increase of the LTE system expects us to apply the MIMO transmission system in the inter-terminal radio communication. However, it might be impossible to achieve the superiority of MIMO system in the LOS propagation environment, since its channel correlation is expected to be large. This paper shows the numerical and experimental results for comparing between SISO and 2x2-MIMO systems in the LOS inter-terminal radio communication.
