Analysis of Optimal Load Resistance Using SPICE Model for Electrostatic Energy Harvester

(in English) In this paper, we report an equivalent circuit model of electrostatic energy harvester for the SPICE circuit simulator. The output power and the optimal load resistance of the electret energy harvester depend on the charged potential and capacitance change due to the mass movement. A capacitance change involving fringing effect is analyzed by FEM analysis, and implemented in a sub circuit model for SPICE simulator. The simulated results correspond with measurement results of the electret energy harvester by appropriate parameters. In addition, maximum output power and optimal load resistance are obtained.
