[Invited Talk] A Development of an Uncompressed Super Hi-Vision Signal Transmission over 100 Gigabit Ethernet

(in English) In order to share UHDTV (Ultra High Definition Television) program material in broadcasting station, we have been developing the transmission system using Ethernet technology. In this paper, we have developed a 100 Gigabit Ethernet transmission system of an uncompressed UHDTV signal with Ethernet transmission band of video signal efficiency, stable and low-latency. We report about the result of our performance evaluation by an examination using test bed implemented our proposed method, which the transmission band is about 78Gbps, the transmission delay time is about 440μs, jitter value ±1ppm or less, the standard value is satisfied, and stable UHDTV transmission is possible.
