| (in English) | Elastic Optical Network (EON) and Space Division Multiplexing (SDM) are important technologies in order to expand the capacity of optical networks. Architecture on Demand (AoD) node is a new optical node structure fully utilizing such novel technologies as Elastic Optical Network (EON), Multi-Core Fiber (MCF), and so on. AoD nodes are constructed dynamically according to switching requests. Therefore, the number and types of building modules required for AoD nodes depend on not only traffic patterns but also spectrum allocation methods. In this paper, we propose dynamic spectrum and core allocation method which improve cost of AoD nodes in EONs with MCFs, in addition to meeting diverse bandwidth requirements, by exploiting additional spectral channels of MCFs. We also evaluate the proposed allocation method through the computer simulations. |
