Bit error rate performance of acoustic communications in indoor environments

(in English) This paper experimentally evaluates bit error rate performance of acoustic communications in indoor environment. First, in order to mitigate frequency distortion between a microphone and a speaker for acoustic communications, this paper evaluates pre-coding techniques. Next, this paper experimentally evaluates performance of acoustic communications employing pre-coding in indoor environment. From these experimental results, it is confirmed that acoustic communications employing pre-coding can improve their performance if transmission symbol rate is relatively high.
