In this study, we propose a trivariate software testing-progress assessment model. The model has three variables which are the number of detected software faults, the number of digested test cases, and the number of removed software faults. Upon the modeling, we employ a Gaussian copula function which has three log-normal marginal distributions and their dependency parameters. By using our model, a real data set is analyzed and we show a 3-dimensional chart to predict the software testing progress as a numerical example. |
