Recently, various kinds of open source hardware (OSHW) are developed, and many sensors are also available to use various kinds of information monitoring systems in the field of Architectural Engineering. However, specifications and developing environments of OSHWs are different. Therefore, in order to apply OSHWs to architectural information monitoring systems, it is necessary to clarify measurement accuracies of OSHWs. In this study, Arduino and two other OSHWs which are pin-compatible to Arduino are employed as data loggers of acceleration data. Shaking table test are performed, and observed acceleration data are stored in micro SD card. Here data observation using a high-precision acceleration sensor and a data logger are also performed, and observation performance of OSHWs is verified using these data. Furthermore, identifications of natural periods of a specimen are also performed by FFT analysis using observed data. Using obtained results, measurement accuracies of employed OSHWs are discussed and clarified. Obtained results show that employed three OSHWs have enough accuracies and are considered to be applicable to a structural health monitoring system of buildings. |
