[Poster Presentation] Study on the diffraction of WPAN in building

(in English) An autonomous sensor is expected to be a key device for the M2M wireless sensor network with node-distance of 10~100m, which operates at extremely low power level including RF transmitting and receiving. In order to accomplish the ultra low power, the stability of wireless communication should be essential. In case of significant signal attenuation caused by diffraction of RF waves at the corner of buildings inside and outside, the path loss level should be preliminary estimated in order to create the reliable network system for M2M applications. This paper demonstrates the RSSI measurement result and it’s modeling for the path loss at the corner of buildings.
