Estimation method for an asymmetric waveform in 1-bit digital RF transmitter

(in English) The output of 1-bit digital radio frequency (1-bit DRF) transmitter, using a bandpass delta sigma modulator, ideally has a rectangular waveform and a realistic waveform having a blunt waveforms due to a slew rate for an analog circuit is not enough. Recent works report that its time waveform which includes asymmetrical component on the time axis generates a distortion on an adjacent channel and that its component can be compensated for by feedforward distortion compensation technology. In order to compensate for it on an eye pattern output by the 1bit DRF transmitter, it should be precisely measured by a high-speed oscilloscope. However, under a broadband measurement condition, a noise makes a line width of the eye pattern wider, which makes it difficult to measure a precise asymmetric component.
Therefore, we propose a new estimation method for the whole of the asymmetric component by measuring an asymmetric component included in a bandwidth including double side adjacency channel in the frequency domain.
