| (in English) | We have proposed to place a RF circuit and an antenna on each side of a silicon chip in the 60GHz band, respectively, and to connect between them with low loss by a coaxial-line structure using an hole opening in the chip. We have measured high radiation efficiency of 75% by a reverberation chamber for a patch antenna placed on a thick resin layer of 200m. In this paper, we fabricate a 2x2 circularly polarized patch array in an area of 5mm square on a silicon chip and have coaxial-line connection with a separated quadrature oscillator chip sized by 1mm square. Then we measure characteristics of the antenna chip. | |
