Reversible informatin hiding for digital image data -- Fundamental and latest technique --

(in English) Information hiding in the computer society is a technique to embed
message into digital objects, such as image, audio, texts and so
on. Researchers in this field have been trying to find and doing
research efficient applications using information hiding.
Reversible information hiding is one of the interesting related
techniques.
In usual information hiding, one who extract embedded message can not
recover the original image of image data with messeage embedded.
In reversible information hiding, on the other hand,
the one can recover the original object after the embedded message extracted.
In this paper, we give an outline of reviersible information hiding for
image data from fundamentals to the lateset progress. In addition, how
to evaluate the technique of reversible information hiding and some
applicatioln fileds are described.
