Autonomous load balancing with multipath routing in Wireless Mesh Networks

(in English) Wireless mesh netoworks is paid attention as a technology for fault tolerant and easily extend wireless LAN area to place access points.
In wireless mesh networks, all access points are basically connected to power supply and used permanently.
Moreover, wireless mesh networks based on battery powered access points has been studied, considering stable use in disaster and poor network areas.
Reducing power consumption of access points is important in battery powered wireless mesh networks as well as in wireless sensor networks.
Therefore, we propose autonomous load balancing with multipath routing for reducing power consumption of bottleneck access point.
In this method, a gateway creates multipath at the bigining and each of access points autonomously distribute load to use control packets from the gateway.
In addition, we show proposed method distributes load in wireless mesh networks by computer simulation.
