[Poster Presentation] On-chip generation and spatial separation of quantum correlated photon pairs using Si-silica monolithic waveguide platform

(in English) We present a monolithic device consisting of a Si-wire waveguide and a silica-based arrayed waveguide grating, capable of creating and demultiplexing correlated photon pairs. We successfully observed quantum correlation of the photon pairs from the chip. We also investigate nonlinearities of the Si and silica waveguides, showing that there is no significant photon pair generation in the silica section.
